Become a GigaLab Explorer

National/international startups, students, developers, creatives, small and medium companies, etc. are invited to help the Challenge Host creating ideas and finding the right solution for their problems!

Participate as a GigaLab Explorer if...

• you are interested in working in a team together with your Challenge Host and other GigaLab Explorers 
• you like finding solutions and ideas for the GigaLab challenge of your choice
• you like to pitch your idea at the future forward festival in front of a jury of FFG, BMF & Startup experts! 
• you like to win the GigaLab Award with monetary prizes up to € 5.000 and other goodies!
• you can spare time on both days of the GigaLab to work on your favorite challenge

Please note

• Your participation as a GigaLab Explorer is only valid if you participate on both days of the GigaLab
• All challenges start on the 21st of Nov. and continue on the 22nd of Nov.!
• You can choose and join only one challenge
• You can join a challenge as an individual or as a team

The Gigabit Wall

The Gigabit Wall is a virtual pinboard, created on the website of the Austrian Research Promotion Agency, where a number of current gigabit and 5G use cases implemented from partner organizations of the Gigabit Academy are presented. The Gigabit Wall is continuously updated!
